Steve was a very active member of the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees (PASR) and was relentless in getting everyone involved in soliciting their legislators to get a COLA for our members, particularly those before Act-9. There will be a void in this effort; unfortunately, he will not be here to see the fruits of his labor. Nonetheless, Steve was recognized by the State and the Delaware County Chapter as the recipient of the John Dillon and Fred McKillop awards. He is the only PASR member to be the recipient of both awards. In recognition to his devotion to public education and dedication to PASR his family has asked that donations be made in his memory to PASR and sent to PASR 878 Century Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 or made online at https://www.pasr.org/member-donate-lpec/ .
