Prior to coming to PASR, Lynn B. Herman worked as a lobbyist/government relations consultant for the Pennsylvania Association of Retired State Employees (PARSE).
From December 1982 through November 2006, Lynn B. Herman was the Pennsylvania State Representative for Centre and Clearfield Counties, 77th Legislative District. As a Representative, Lynn B. Herman served 24 years as a member of the House of Representatives Education Committee, where he fostered strong working relationships with local school board officials and superintendents. He also served on the national American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) Task Force on Education. For the last ten years of his tenure in the House, Lynn B. Herman served as Chairman of the Local Government Committee.
Lynn B. Herman earned a Masters of Public Administration degree from the University of Pittsburgh and Bachelor of Arts degrees in political science and history from the University of Pittsburgh, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
A native of Philipsburg, Lynn B. Herman currently resides in State College.
