Holiday Luncheon 2022

Gather for fellowship and cheer on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Lia’s Catering, 1405 Meetinghouse Road, Boothwyn PA. The celebration begins at 11:30AM & Lunch at Noon.

The cost of the catered lunch is $27.50 per person and family and friends are welcome. Please RSVP and send payment to: Dr. Janice HoffmanWillis, 1437 Fresno Rd., Wilmington, DE 19803. Make checks payable to DELCO PASR.

The event will feature: Special recognition of Members’ Dedicated Service to PASR, Games and Prizes, and 50/50.

Please consider bringing a canned or dry-food donation for the Bernardine Food Pantry in Chester, PA.

2022 Educational Support Awards

Our Chapter held the Excellence in Education awards luncheon to recognize Delaware County schools, public school employees, selected winners from the Delaware County Science Fair and students seeking a career in public education. The awards are the Lauretta Woodson Awards, the Educational Grant Awards, Delaware County Science Fair winners in four categories, and the Lauretta Woodson Scholarships. The Educational Grant and Lauretta Woodson School District Awards are given to selected school districts within Delaware County on a rotating basis. This year we also awarded two Educational Support Donations made possible through funds raised through our Chapter participation in the Boscov's Friends Helping Friends fundraising event.
The Educational Support Committee under the leadership of Dr. Mary Anne Caporaletti is proud to announce the 2022 awardees listed below:

After the challenges and restrictions we faced during the COVID crisis, we are pleased to offer our members this opportunity to gather for fellowship and cheer on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Lia’s Catering, 1405 Meetinghouse Road, Boothwyn PA. The celebration begins at 11:30AM & Lunch at Noon.

2021 PASR House of Delegates Report

The 2021 PASR House of Delegates was held in October at the Eden Resort & Suites in Lancaster PA. The theme of the event was “Into the Future”. Our Chapter sent 4 voting delegates (in-person) who had the responsibility to vote on the PASR Bylaws, incoming PASR Board of Directors nominations and other organizational business. NOTE: a few delegates were virtual and voted via Zoom.

The keynote speaker was Dr. Daniel Wubah, President of Millersville University. To hear his inspiring message CLICK HERE.

25th Anniversary of Friends Helping Friends - October 20

Our Chapter again this year will be participating in Boscov’s Friends Helping Friends event. This event helps shoppers save money on the Friends Helping Friends Day October 20 from 8AM to 11PM and also helps raise money for our Chapter to support our programs.

With a donation of $5 to our PASR Chapter the shopper receives a Friends Helping Friends Shopping Pass 25% discount for purchases made in-store only on Wednesday, October 20th, 2021 at all Boscov’s locations (offer not valid online).
