Educational Support Scholarship Award Application Process
Our Chapter is seeking applications from seniors enrolled in public secondary schools within Delaware County who have expressed a desire to enter a profession/career within the public school system.
Should you plan to graduate at the end of the current school year, we urge you to read the application carefully, complete all the necessary requirements, and file the application before the deadline of March 27. Applications received after this date will not be considered. All monetary awards are given directly to the awardee and not to the educational institution.
Three monetary awards, two scholarships in memory of Dr. Lauretta Woodson and one scholarship in memory of Frank Monaghan, will be presented to students selected by the Educational Support Awards Committee. If you are selected for the award, you will be expected to attend our Spring Luncheon in early May as our guest.

PROCEDURE - The Applicant Must:
1. complete the application as directed. All of the documents can be downloaded and several of the documents are editable (NOTE: Link to document (MS Word) will open in a new window so before typing in the doc save the doc to your computer, flash drive, or device).
2. include an official transcript of the public secondary school attended. Transcripts and documentation must include grades, SAT scores, school activities, GPA and class rank.
3. submit the completed application via email by March 31 to Educational Support Committee Chair – Dr. Mary Anne Caporaletti [email protected]
NOTE: Please think carefully, express your thoughts fully and select your references with great care to help the Awards Committee better understand your thoughts and your goals.
